Contents are generally clean though some pages have some marks and there is some marginal damage to the frontispiece, creases to front end-papers. The binding is worn but firm. This is an eminently usable copy, although shows signs of age. Interesting insight into science in Victorian times. An exceptionally heavy volume and will require additional postage. 4to.
