Daneben hat der Gesetzgeber 1998 gerade diese Klientel und die Sozialtherapie in eine erst wieder durch die Föderalismusreform langsam relativierte Zwangsehe zusammengeführt.Der hier vorgelegte Sammelband gibt einen Zwischenbericht eines langjährigen Forschungsprojekts »Sexualstraftäter in den sozialtherapeutischen Abteilungen des Freistaates Sachsen«, das von Beginn des genannten Gesetzes an diese politisch gewollte intrikate Konstellation empirisch begleitet hat. Es verfolgt mehrere Ziele: Die sozialtherapeutischen Behandlungskonzepte bei Sexual-, aber eben auch vergleichend bei (sonstigen) Gewaltdelikten sollen ebenso bis ins Detail dargestellt werden wie bislang erzielte empirische Ergebnisse. Die Klientel jugendlicher Strafgefangener findet dabei besondere Berücksichtigung. Ein weiterer Fokus dieses Projekts liegt auf der Untersuchung der Zeit nach der Haft. Über diese Erkenntnisse soll zugleich ein Beitrag zu den kriminologischen Theorien zur Rückfalldelinquenz und deren Prognose geleistet und schließlich an einem konkreten Beispiel das Spannungsverhältnis von Kriminologie und Kriminalpolitik kritisch beleuchtet werden.
