This was the first published collection of her photography and includes images of celebrities including Sissy Spacek, Pat Benatar, Norman Mailer, Elvis Costello and Robert Redford. The book also includes a five page transcript of a conversation between Leibovitz and David Felton.

About Very Good copy of this early Leibovitz monograph. Signed, dated, and inscribed by the photographer at full title page. At the half-title page, Leibovitz has inked her (rather large) footprints. Inscription reads, "Congratulations Ethan / Love is all we need. / Love, Anna-Lou / P.S. Thank you for being a true inspiration." (Anna-Lou is the photographer's birthname.) Former bookseller's cataloging identifies Ethan as Ethan Russell, noted rock n' roll photographer. While it is somewhat common for the photographer to stamp her palmprint when signing books, her feet are much less common. Signed.
