Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Die sagenhafte Stadt Vineta - das Atlantis der Ostsee - galt als eine der reichsten Handelsstädte im mittelalterlichen Europa. Viele Quellen berichten von der Existenz Vinetas, dennoch konnte die genaue Lage der versunkenen Stadt bis heute nicht zw…eifelsfrei ausgemacht werden. Es heißt, die Stadt sei eines Tages, als Bestrafung für ihre Sünden, den moralischen Verfall und die Verschwendungssucht der Bewohner, bei einem Sturmhochwasser zerstört worden und untergegangen. Die Bewohner sollen zuvor durch Himmelszeichen gewarnt worden sein, haben die Zeichen aber ignoriert. Der Sage nach soll noch heute zu besonderen Zeiten Glockenläuten aus den Tiefen des Meeres zu hören sein. Im hier vorliegenden, Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts erschienenen Buch werden die Geschichte und der Untergang Vinetas anhand der historischen Quellen dichterisch nacherzählt.
