It is considered on of the many so-called imitations of "La Celestina" which were written in Spain after the appearance of the Rojas' masterpiece (1499).This volume transcribes two early versions of the text, and contains notes on the localization of the action, along with an assessment. It provides a basis from which to assess the literary value and historical importance of the "Comedia Thebaida".
