Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book collates and simplifies the Agriculture Act of 1920 and the Corn Production Act of 1917. These two Acts brought about many changes to the management of agricultural tenancies, from the creation of Agricultural Committees to the establishment of minimum wages. The book explains how the Acts have amended previous legislation, and provides an overview of the new regulations surrounding important issues such as compensation, improvement, and enforced cultivation. The author clarifies the distinctions between various classes of agricultural labourers, and provides detailed explanations of new requirements for landowners regarding repairs and maintenance. This book is indispensable for any farmer, estate manager, or other professional working in the agricultural industry. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
