Wie kann man Klassifizierungen und Kategorisierungen auf der Ebene von Schrift, Sprache, Abbild und Frames fassen? Gibt es Hierarchisierungen? Werden differierende Klassifizierungssysteme in verschiedenen sozialen Gruppierungen bzw. in unterschiedlichen Medien sichtbar? Altertumswissenschaftler, Anthropologen, Linguisten u.a. gewinnen durch eine synchron und diachron vergleichende Perspektive Methoden zur Rückgewinnung früher Konzepte von Mensch und Natur.
