Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book provides a meticulously organized and comprehensive system for classifying photographs of architecture, sculpture, painting, and decorative arts. The system is designed to be logical, consistent, simple, and easy to apply, making it accessible to anyone who wishes to use phot…ographs for any purpose. The author begins by discussing the importance of proper purchasing, mounting, labeling, and stacking of photographs. The system of cataloging described in this book was developed to meet the needs of a growing collection of photographs and has successfully stood the test of time, accommodating rapid growth, multiple relocations, and increasing use by students and visitors. With a nod to the breadth of this collection and the range of students that were likely to consult it, the author opted for a classification that is logical, consistent, simple, and easy to apply. The resulting system is intended to be comprehensible to anyone who uses the photographs, regardless of their purpose. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. Drawing from centuries of scholarship, this book explores the lasting legacy of the 14th-century mystic and theologian Meister Eckhart. The author situates Eckhart's thought within the medieval intellectual climate, examining his ideas on God, humanity, and the path to divine union. Th…e book delves into the profound themes of Eckhart's philosophy, including the relationship between the soul and God, the nature of true freedom, and the paradoxical concept of "learned ignorance." Through a meticulous analysis of Eckhart's writings, the author illuminates the enduring insights that have made Eckhart one of the most influential figures in Western mysticism. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
