Spine lettering is faded but legible. Hinges and endpapers solid and strong. , and the frontispiece may have been reglued at one time. Some foxing to rear endpaper. Text is very good- to , with no odor, tears or stains! The series provides a fascinating account of the adventures of high-spirited girls in the early part of the 20th century. While this is not the only girls series Baum wrote, it is probably the best known. ).
