NOT Ex-Library. Presents Paul Kane's sketches and paintings from his travels in the Columbia region during 1846-47, along with his lecture text on the Chinook Indians, "The Chinooks." The edition includes Vaughan's introduction, contextual footnotes, and numerous reproductions of Kane's field sketches and paintings.
