Condition: Assez bon. 1 vol. in-8 br., Edition des "Concerts à l'Ecole", Directeur Léon Drieux, à Courcelles-les-Andelys (Eure), 1913, 196 pp. Le chansonnier et compositeur, natif de Lusignan, Ernest Chebroux (1840-1910) connut de son vivant une importante notoriété. Président de la goguette de la Lice chansonnière, membre de la société du Caveau et de la goguette du Pot-au-Feu, il était issu d'un milieu modeste et il fonda en 1900 "L'oeuvre de la chanson française" dont le but était d'apprendre les classiques aux ouvriers. Eugène Vaillant, l'auteur du recueil, est cité dans le Maitron. Etat très satisfaisant (couv. lég. frottée avec rouss., anc. traces d'adhésif en garde, bon état par ailleurs) pour cet ouvrage rare et important. Langue: Français.
