Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - The American Deep State that has its roots in the late 19th century secret society that aimed at widening the circle of influence of the trans-Atlantic, Anglo-Saxon power centers, England and America, has today evolved into a massive behemoth with immeasurable power, that brings about major upheavals in the world, almost at will. They have taken the art of subversion to a new height by engineering regime change operations through movements that are powered by misinformation and subterfuge. They function through a web of organizations and institutions with seemingly angelic aims like promotion of democracy and protection of environment. They work relentlessly and ruthlessly with single minded focus on promoting American interest at any cost. - Abhijit Joag, Renowned AuthorThe mastermind lurking behind all the chaotic conditions created globally has been the Deep States of various countries, primarily that of the US. It is they who plotted the sinister plans, funded them, and got them implemented through their specific Intelligence Agencies' supported puppets. They are here to orchestrate for their three objectives: Global Geo-Political Control; Global Wealth Control; Generate Proxy Wars. - Air Vice Marshal Pranay Sinha AVSM, PVSMTill I read the Book, 'Deep State' for me was hazy, complex, somewhat abstract, happening in a distant land and importantly peddled by journalists with an agenda. The Author lifts the veil, puts the puzzle together and demolishes the perceptions piece by piece, with solid Facts, micro details, deep insights, relatable evidence and names plus characters who suddenly appear so real. - Ramachandra Rao, Sr, Management Consultant.…

8vo. xvii, [1], 267, [1] pp. Photo frontisp., numerous photo plates. Green-blue publisher's cloth, gilt lettering front cover & spine, red topstain as issued (slight shelfwear), w/ d.j. Art Deco cover art of boy & girl tramps jumping into railcars (minor chipping foot of spine, darkening to spine, slight edgwear, old tape repairs), still NF/VG- copy. First edition, 2nd printing, of this gritty travel memoir, and sociological study examining the impact of the Great Depression upon teenagers, and even children as young as 10 years-old swelling the ranks of perhaps homeless and tramp youth wandering across the United States in the early 1930's. Minehan while a professor of Sociology at the University of Minnesota disguised himself in shabby clothes, and lived on the road for over three years, observing 1465 girls and boys under 18, interviewed nearly 1000, and compiled 499 case histories, with the vast majority never finishing more than 8th grade, or 2 years of high school. He then issued this brutal and frank assessment of young women forced into prostitution as homeless nonprofits largely targeted males, and young boys; examined the impacts of societal aversion to homosexuality which frequently resulted in young people expelled from their homes, with over 10% young women (interesting fact in his tables was that while 20-30% of boys still liked their parents, no such affection was expressed by the young women). Despite the introduction of the Civilian Conservation Corps, and other similar New Deal programs, many of the child tramps remained defiant, including one called "Texas" who railed that "I can't get into the CCC because I have no dependents. I can't remain in any state unless I go to a slave camp. What chance have I got?" Uncommon in original dustjacket. …
