Octavo/8vo, measures around 10" by 7 1/2" by 2 1/2". Black leather binding, gilt lettering to spine. Scuffing, some scoring and a little marking to binding but quite clean. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, split to outer front hinge and a little at base of outer rear hinge. A little slackness to binding and there appear to have been repairs to inner hinges but book contents quite firm. Upper page edges gilt, a bit scuffed but still reasonably vivid. Fore-edges alphabetically indexed, a bit browned and a little foxed, marked and scuffed. Bottom edges a bit browned, scuffed and marked with small staining. Some foxing to preliminaries and hindmost pages, slight foxing and the odd mark elsewhere but otherwise page surfaces quite clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. xviii + 832 pp. Circa 1910. n.
