Since August 2015 he has been director of the National Gallery in London, England. The book in inscribed to him on the title page in pen, signed off by graphic designer Wladimir Marnich. The latter worked for several design studios, primarily for Brian Sadgrove & Associates until 2004 when he decided to start his own design practice, Marnich Associates.
