In 1948 the transistor was invented, which changed electronics forever. This is a great example of what was being taught in a University Environment at that time. The manual is organized as a laboratory experiment instructor, with a section on reports and how they should be written, followed by the 36 experiments. Good form for engineers is suggested - put your results in a permanently bound record, not loose pages. Cross out errors, don't erase them - you might need to refer to these later. The Experiments have a short Theory section, followed by the Experiment.
