Niet alleen determineert zij haar persoonlijke fantasie?n, ze daalt ook af naar de grillige spelonken van het onbewuste verlangen van vele vrouwen en toont aan hoe juist de voorspelbare romance daar naadloos in past. Daarbij maakt ze speels gebruik van idee?n van Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Taylor en anderen. Ze bevestigt alle vooroordelen over de reeks en tegelijkertijd tilt ze deze flinterdunne lectuur naar een hoger plan, aan de hand van voorbeelden die je nu eens hardop in de lach doen schieten, dan weer stiekem doen terugbladeren omdat het toch wel heel lekker is wat daar staat.Ik zal betogen dat ik via het lezen van deze boekjes een fantasie voed die me zowel beknelt als bezielt. Beknelt, want die eeuwige drang tot herhaling, dat verlangen naar steeds hetzelfde verhaal, duid ik als een symptoom van een cultureel trauma waaraan vrouwen lijden. En bezielt, want dat is wat ik zoek - en vind - als ik naar huis fiets, de gordijnen dichtdoe en met een Bouquetje tussen de lakens glijd.Om het ongelovige gelach voor te zijn: zeker, de Bouquetreeks voorziet in softporno voor vrouwen. Maar er gebeurt meer. Ik word ook ontvankelijk gemaakt. Ontvankelijk voor een wereld die groter is dan ik kan bevatten en me belooft te vervoeren. Een wereld die ik voor mogelijk wil houden. Een wereld die bestaat in de fantasie.En fantasie?n hebben consequenties.; Prima ex., ook het losse stofomslag.
