Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. Spanning centuries and continents, this meticulously researched genealogical record delves into the rich history of the Sawyer family, tracing their lineage back to William Sawyer, who emigrated from England to America in the 17th century. The author's dedication to detail and accuracy paints a vivid portrait of the Sawyer family's journey through generations, revealing their deep roots in American history. This book offers more than just names and dates. It weaves together personal anecdotes, historical context, and glimpses into the daily lives of the Sawyers and related families like the Emerys, Ordways, and Fitzes, offering readers a captivating glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of early American life. We encounter individuals like Deacon Moses Sawyer, a man of unwavering faith and conviction, whose stand against changing religious doctrines within his church reflects the broader struggle between tradition and progress in 19th-century New England. Through the lives of these individuals, the book explores themes of resilience, faith, and the enduring power of family ties. It showcases the Sawyers' contributions to their communities, from farming and sheep husbandry to education and religious leadership. Ultimately, this genealogical exploration serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of one family and its significant role in shaping the American experience. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
