Hardcover. Condition: VG+. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, red cloth boards show very little handling and the only reason this book does not grade higher is because there are a few scuffs and if you dark spots on the exterior. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. All of the text pages are crisp and clean, no markings found. We acquired a large collection of chess books over 40 years ago, most of which were kept packed away until the time of this listing - which is why the condition is like a newer book.
