Sir Adolphe-Basile Routhier FRSC (May 8, 1839 - June 27, 1920) was… a Canadian judge, author, and lyricist. He wrote the lyrics of the original French version of the Canadian national anthem "O Canada". He was born in Saint-Placide, Quebec. Bound in green cloth with gilt titles and decoration. B&W illustration pasted to the front board. Some light wear to the lower corner tips. Some surface rubbing to the rear panel. Interior pages of the book are very light brown. Tight, square binding, sound hinges. Postage, at Cost, to be determined when location of potential buyer is known and when type/s of postage required are known.
