Første artikel i første nummer (7.oktober 1771) gav en hård medfart til Niels Krogh Bredals syngespil 'Tronfølgen i Sidon', hvorefter Bredal tog til genmæle og skrev et lille satirisk efterstykke mod tidsskriftet. Efterspillet blev opført efter en af de næste forestillinger og medførte tumult og decideret slagsmål i teatret. Den noget roligere Abrahamson giver i sit værk en mere nøgtern genfortælling og vurdering af fejden. Tidsskriftet holdt kun 39 numre, som alle er her i bogen.
