In Agen, he wrote some 214 dramatic, socially sensitive novellas (made available in both French & English), providing, notably, themes to Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet (1594-95),"Much Ado About Nothing" (1598-99), and "Twelfth Night (1601-02)!
