Lakin was an early Methodist circuit preacher who worked in the Northwest Territory Ohio area. Lakin wa…s born in Montgomery County, Maryland, August 23, 1767. He died in 1848 or 1849. He married Elizabeth Roye in 1789. Second document is handwritten by W. H. Richards, 8 pages, double-sided, giving detailed information on Lakin's life. Final document is 4 pages of notes handwritten by Samuel Williams dated Cincinnati, 1860 , apparently a rough copy of a letter concerning life of Lakin. Documents are all in Good condition, no tears no chips but some light stains and light foxing. 3 documents.
