Condition: Fair. 1879. 742 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Signed by the author. Brown leather. Inscribed with Author's compliments. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Hinges and guttering are cracked. Binding is loose. Boards have been heavily rub worn with heavy shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a heavily frayed and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Moderate splitting to both spine joints ,repaired with tape.
