The boards are quite clean but do show some marks and wear from handling over the last 98 years. The gilt titles are slightly faded. The head of the spine is rubbed and creased, with some fraying to the cloth and a small split at the top edge. Corners slightly creased but still sharp and not worn. The binding is square with no reading lean. Spine tight. The top edge of the page block is slightly dusty and darkened and there is a small light stain at the top of the fore-edge (not very noticeable). Light foxing also to the page block edges. Internally also very good, with just some light sporadic foxing and offsetting to the endpapers, and some light foxing spots to the first and last couple of pages. Interior pages otherwise clean, with no previous ownership inscriptions. The pages are generally clean, with no creases or tears. Paper stock lightly tanned but good quality paper used.
