20.5 x 20.5cm. Paperback, 32pp. Illustrated exhibition catalogue published to coincide with Rebecca Holmes' debut solo exhibition at the Eames Fine Art Print Room on Bermondsey Street, London. Holmes cites Cuban feminist Ana Mendieta as a key influence. Vincent Eames' foreword draws attention to Holmes' interest in geometric abstraction, identifying the influence of Barbara Hepworth, Lygia Pape, and Russian Constructivism. Holmes produces visually adventurous prints - evocative forms of abstract landscapes - incorporating drawing, using photopolymer etching, linocut, silkscreen, and monotype techniques. Cover slightly rubbed, otherwise very good condition.
