It is especially revealing to see Thomas's favorites among poets contemporary to him, such as W.H. Davies, Robert Graves, John Crowe Ransom, George Barker, etc. Red-orange cloth, gilt lettering on spine, slip case. Linen of spine sunned (apparently as usual). A light, graphite colored mark on top edge, another such on fore edge. Previous owner's name, FFEP. There are no markings to the text; paper stock bright, binding tight. Issued with no DJ; archival cover supplied. Slip-case is G+, with edge wear around the opening and some scuffing at corners. Cover matter, front and back, are clearly preserved. See photos. The anthologists are Ralph Maud, a specialist in Thomas and modernist poetics; and Welsh poet Aneirin Talfan Davies who, like Thomas, championed broadcast poetry.
