Book condition - near Very Good ; contents clean, no foxing, a few minor inscriptions in the text, binding firm with inner hinges intact ; original black cloth with title in gilt on the spine and front board ; back clean, corners a little rubbed and top corner a bit bumped, hinge intact, spine complete with ends creased but not split, spine colour perhaps a tad faded but clean ( a few faint marks) and gilt title is complete and bright, front board is clean with bright gilt title, bottom, front corner shows an obvious bump causing a creasing of the cloth and there is another similar bump on the bottom edge (please see photo). No dustjacket (ever issued ? ). A scientific and technical examination of the subject.
