Moderate toning to interior, negligible light foxing in a few places, presentation inscription from author to head of title page. $350. * First edition. "The principal parts of the following pages consist of notes collected by the author in the course of his reading, and for his own use, without any view to publication. [He] (.) thought that these notes, with some additions and alterations, might be made useful as a Summary of the Law on which his book professes to treat (iii). This title was reissued in Philadelphia in 1843. The reissue is fairly common, but the original issue is not; no copies are listed on OCLC.
