It is 4 and a half inches to a mile and shows public buildings, parks and open spaces, etc. with index to streets. A small ink reference number has been written on the bottom edge of the map.…

Geographia Ltd was a prominent London-based cartographic firm (19111985) founded by Alexander Gross, specialising in road maps, city street plans, and atlases, often featuring detailed street-level information. Between 1947-1964 the company were based 167 Fleet Street EC4 as detailed on this street plan.…

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Thus. Undated - but B.L. suggests 1954 (price on front is 17/6 NET]. The red cloth boards have black frame and titling. Attached to inside front cover is a 40 page index; opposite is folded map; this consists of 30 sections measuring approx. 121 x 101 cm when opened. The boards are square, tight and clean with no marks or inscriptions; the map has a few fold interstices beginning to wear but overall the map folds are crisp and sound and the book appears to have been little used.
