Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This youthful adventure delves into a world where boys are free to follow their every whim, but the author suggests that true happiness lies elsewhere. Ned, a restless young boy, leaves home seeking excitement in a land where anything is permitted. Yet, the reality of this "Wilful Land" falls short of his expectations, as rampant selfishness and indulgence breed unexpected consequences. Through Ned's trials and tribulations, the author explores the delicate balance between freedom and responsibility, examining the true nature of happiness and the value of moral principles. Ultimately, this book is a thought-provoking exploration of the complexities of human nature and the enduring power of choice. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. …
