Beneath this is the signature of Heather Tanner. Book: painted boards held by green morocco yokes to the head and foot of the spine. The remaining section of the spine is exposed. Five green morocco bands cross the covers and spine, ending in eyelets on either side. The binding fits into a open wooden frame with metal brackets at the joints and lined in suede. Slight rubbing to edges of the boards where the book slides in and out of the frame. Small scratch to the rear board. Faces of page block painted to match the boards. Pictorial pastedowns of a winding road bordered by trees. Brown suede first and final endapers. Nicolas McDowall designed this publication, typesetting and printing in Gill's Aries typeface at Catchmays Court, Llandogo, Monmouthshire.
