In this brief essay Yates argues that ancestral worship is not mere filial piety or reverence for the dead, but rather an integral part of Chinese systems of religion. Inscription to upper front wrap; pamphlet gently folded down the center, with commensurate creasing to textblock; with some light rusting to staples; top corner of front wrap chipped away, with some light chipping to outer margin of front wrap, else a VG or better copy.
