A total of 197 items are described in detail in the book and a 173 page history of the press and the press movement is given which gives much information on turn of the century printing. This is the copy of the book that was used to produce the reprint and the book block has been disbound and loosely inserted in the covers. Some pencil annotations about the few changes required for the reprint.

Luglio 5 1913" and "I met Daniel O'Connor at Wilfrid and Alice Meynell's in London August 31 1922." [Alice Meynell died 27 November 1922]. The Meynells were well known for their hospitality and their soirees. American Poet's copy. Original vellum gilt. Some light soiling, else a very good copy.

Printed in Monotype Garamond with Civilite for display. 8vo., original cream buckram with bevelled boards, vegetable parchment dust wrapper with spine title and design by Marion Dorn printed in red. Loosely inserted in the book is a pencil drawing on glacine paper reputed to be an image of the Australian graphic designer Ruby Lindsay, sister of Norman and Percy Lindsay. It does indeed resemble her closely. The first publication of Moore's novel in England including notes by the author as well as a dedication to Lady Cunard signed by Moore.
