On the first page of the book there is a Berry Coat-of-Arms pasted in. Throughout the work there is an occasional correction in ink of some statement in the margin or body of the book. Presumably this was done by someone with knowledge of the situation that is different than what is in print. Inside the front cover is a return address label of Eleanor Gaines, perhaps she noted the differences. There is wear at the head and tail of the spine and corner wear on the covers. A 106 page work that has several corrections in blue pen by someone who presumably has detailed knowledge of what was being described. On the first page of the book there is a paste on of the Berry Coat-of-Arms. Inside the front cover there is a return address sticker of a member of the Gaines family. Also on this page there is a shadow of something that had been laid on the page and left for many years. There is wear at the head and tail of the spine but no creasing on the spine per se.
