Compiled by Bay Area printer, typographer, and typefounder Lester Lloyd and, fittingly, by Lloyd's apprentice Alix Christie. Lloyd worked for 54 years at the Mackenzie & Harris hot metal type foundry. One of his greatest achievements was setting type for Moby Dick from Arion press. This is copy 37 of a limited edition of 175 copies. The colophon is signed in ink by both printer-authors. An unstated number of copies was reserved for distribution to The Roxburghe Club. This oblong 16mo book is 6" x 6 3/4". Bound in printed, yellow paper over boards. Each page has a decorative frame, unpaginated, 42 pp. Issued in his own name instead of his imprint Red Squirrel Press, Lloyd produced this little book simply from his love of printing.
