Ensemble composé de rares pièces émises par des prêtres de Bordeaux à la suite de la Constitution Civile du Clergé (décret d'août 1790) et face à l'obligation faites à tous les ecclésiastiques de prêter serment à la Nation (décret de janvier 1791). Toutes ces brochures, argumentées, s'insurgent contre les dispositions révolutionnaires et apportent un éclairage précieux pour l'étude de la crise de conscience et des résistances du milieu ecclésiastique bordelais en 1791 et 1792 Elles sont complétées par trois brochures, dont deux pamphlets, connus, mais peu fréquents. La première est la "Déclaration du roi, adressée à tous les François, à sa sortie de Paris", du 20 juin 1791, imprimée par Baudouin imprimeur de l'Assemblée, et reprenant le texte laissé par Louis XVI en partance pour Varennes-Montmédy, publié au Journal des débats du 22 juin 1791.
