In fair condition, lightly aged, with spike hole through both lea…ves. Folded twice for postage. He is sorry Raymond had 'so much trouble' looking for him: 'but the truth is I waited at home for you this morning till 12 -'. He explains that 'the Copy Right of the Comedy' is 'purchas'd by Mr. Harris', although he is greatly obliged to Raymond for his 'kind attentions - & should have been extremely happy to have treated with Mr. Phillips' (the actor-musician Tom Phillips, 1774-1841, for whom see the ODNB).
