There is a heavy bump to the bottom right corner of the front panel and a lighter bump to the bottom left corner of the rear panel. Light bumping to the top corners and a little light edge and surface wear. Page edges a little browned with some spotting…. There is a little spotting to the endpapers with a small tear at the top of the rear pastedown. The pages are a little browned but are otherwise unmarked. Colour frontispiece and eleven interior illustrations of which three are in colour. The price-clipped jacket has chipping around the edges with a little loss at the top left corner of the rear panel. There are three half-inch closed tears and several smaller closed tears with some discolouration to the front and rear panels. First printing.
