Vztah techto osobnosti byl mimoradny, provazela jej vzajemna ucta a respekt. Doklad mimoradneho vztahu techto pozoruhodnych osobnosti uchovava Masarykova univerzita v podobe insignii - medaile a rektorskeho retezu.
