The first edition was published as 'An Illustration of the Architecture and Sculpture of the Cathedral Church of Lincoln' in 1819.The cathedral is an impressive structure, the earliest parts dating back to 1072. From 1311 to 1548, the cathedral was the tallest building in a world. The current structure is an immense Gothic architectural endeavour, which holds one of the four remaining copies of the original Magna Carta.Illustrated with sixteen double pages plates.
