Half leather covered boards with marbled paper. Gilt borders between paper and leather on front and back panels; four raised bands on spine with gilt lettering and decorations. Upper external page edges are gilt. Paper on front board panel is scuffed - see photo. Edges at head and tail of board spine and a couple places on the bands are scuffed, as are the fore-edge corner tips and several places along the upper- and lower-most board edges. Side and lower page edges are age-toned. Marbled end papers match that on the board panels. Age-toning to text pages and foxing scattered throughout, although very legible. Text block is sound.
