Was der Autor im Niemandsland zwischen Geistes- und Naturwissenschaften beobachtet hat, ist klare Feststellung und bekümmerter Appell: eine Verwandlung des totalen kalten Krieges in einen totalen Frieden ist nur über eine Bewußtseinsänderung der Menschen zu erhoffen. Bewundernswert ist die Fülle des historischen und aktuellen Materials, über alle Maßen erfreulich die Präzision, mit der die exakten Kerne einer Entdeckung, Erfindung oder Denkumwälzung dargestellt werden.
