In India it is grown both in the open fields and under the greenhouse condition. While the openly grown roses cater to the domestic markets, greenhouse rose are produced for both domestic and international markets. An experiment entitled 'Effect of foliar application of micronutrients on growth and flowering of rose under polyhouse conditions' was conducted at Satpuda Botanic Garden, College of Agriculture, Nagpur during the year July 2008 to Dec. 2008. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with thirteen treatments replicated thrice. The results of present investigation indicated that, the vegetative growth characters, flower yield and flower quality were found superior under 0.3% ZnSO4 + 0.3% MnSO4 + 0.3% FeSO4. Therefore, it is concluded that spraying of 0.3% ZnSO4 + 0.3% MnSO4 and 0.3% FeSO4 micronutrients at fortnight interval be applied for obtaining higher yield of quality flowers of rose under polyhouse conditions. 64 pp. Englisch. …

Une experience intitulee Effet de l'application foliaire de micronutriments sur la croissance et la floraison des roses en serre a ete menee au jardin botanique de Satpuda, au College d'agriculture de Nagpur, entre juillet et decembre 2008. L'experience a ete menee selon un plan en blocs randomises avec treize traitements repetes trois fois. Les resultats de la presente etude ont montre que les caracteristiques de croissance vegetative, le rendement en fleurs et la qualite des fleurs etaient superieurs avec un traitement a 0,3 % de ZnSO4 + 0,3 % de MnSO4 + 0,3 % de FeSO4. Il est donc conclu que la pulverisation de micronutriments a 0,3 % de ZnSO4 + 0,3 % de MnSO4 et 0,3 % de FeSO4 a intervalles de deux semaines doit etre appliquee pour obtenir un rendement plus eleve de fleurs de rose de qualite en serre.
