Corners bumped with bit of cardboard exposed there, some scuffing on spine, with hairline cracks running length of joints, approx 1/8th inch deep chipping off head and foot, gold a bit rubbed on front board. Internally, prev owner's Christmas, 1887 sgn on t. P. , hinges cracked between several of the gatherings, o/w clean, unmarked, paper still crisp. Nice Victorian poems for children by numerous authors, about world of nature, domestic life (including one about rubber boots with accompanying illustration) , etc. Children's; fine binding.
