Fresh looking copy in hardly read bright condition and with no inscriptions. A little toned to the prelims and moderately foxed at the page block edge. Bright clean cloth boards with crisp title lettering on the spine. A tad rubbed at the extremities, only really noticeable on closer inspection. The dust jacket is clean and not price clipped, although it is very quite edge worn with some loss at the spine ends giving a somewhat raggy apppearance; also toned to the spine at top edge. In all though a nice presentable copy.

Several illustrations; endpapers rather tanned; previous owner's bookplate pasted to inside front cover; occasional very light pencilled annotations beside text, short tear to page137, not affecting twext, otherwise internally clean, sound, intact. Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. Good+ condition. Classic work on fly-fishing with numerous illustrations. This 2nd edition copy has secure hinges but does lean to the right a bit. There is a little tan staining to the first end page and the last end page where newspaper articles or something similar may have been laid in at one time. Remaining pages are clean without creases, marks, stains or wrinkles. Very little soiling to the green cloth outer covers. The gilt lettering on the spine is clean and bright. The lower right corner of the front cover and lower left corner of the back cover are bumped. There is light wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine and covers, corner tips.
