Christopher Lever was a zoologist and author of works on nature.Illustrated with a full colour frontispiece and 15 monochrome and colour plates. Collated complete.In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper.This work was written as a collaboration between I. R. P. Heslop, G. E. Hyde and R. E. Stockley and provides a comprehensive monograph on the Purple Emperor butterfly.
