Illustrated with steel engravings of Lincoln, Grant and Farragut (some foxing to engravings), and a two page map. Bound in the original green publisher's cloth covers with gilt spine and cover lettering gilt rules along the edges. This book is now in a removable, protective mylar cover. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings or previous owner names. It is an uncommon item in the original edition (this is not a reprint).
