Revised Pilot script for the 1961 television series, "Margie." Copy belonging to Ace Beall, an uncredited member of the crew, with his name and notation in manuscript ink on the front wrapper. Brief annotations in manuscript pencil on a few pages. Margie (Pepper) is a teenager growing up in a small New England town in the Jazz Age. She has a friend named Maybelle (Parker) who is a flapper, boys that like her, and a brother named Cornell. The series first aired on October 12, 1961 and ran for 26 episodes, the last aired on April 12, 1962. The pilot episode (script dated a full 9 months before the episode aired) involves Margie and Maybelle and the boys that seem more interested in Maybelle than Margie. Cream titled wrappers, noted as REVISED PILOT SCRIPT on the front wrapper, dated February 6, 1961. Title page integral with front wrapper. 39 leaves, with last page of text numbered 40.
