DJ is in extremely poor shape and is in numerous pieces with large chip missing on backside and smaller chips and tears on front. Green cloth boards underneath are clean and bright, the book itself would normally grade as near fine but the last text page and adjacent end page has a small area of holes in the extreme upper outside edge which was probably caused by insects. This issue is well outside of the text area and measures less than an inch and half by about 1/4 inch wide. Remaining binding is good and tight, no hinge issues, no handwriting, no signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Pages are toned due to age and there is some foxing present though mainly limited to the end pages and pastedowns where it is pretty heavy. Dust jacket was placed in a protective mylar sleeve after photos were taken.
