Die Arbeit soll sich mit dem Umgang der Homosexualität in der Antike auseinandersetzen. Um einen besseren Einstieg in das Thema zu erlangen befasst sich der erste Teil mit der Begriffsbestimmung von Homosexualität. Interessant wäre hier zu erfahren, ob sich die Deutungen des Begriffs aus der Antike mit dem heutigen Verständnis überschneiden.Den Mittelpunkt dieser Arbeit bildet ein historischer Überblick der griechischen und römischen Homosexualität. Hierbei soll herausgearbeitet werden, wie sich die griechische und römische Homosexualität äußerte Ob es Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten gab und was im Moralischen und ästhetischen Sinne als rechtes bzw. als verwerfliches homosexuelles Verhalten galt Dabei empfiehlt sich eine Gegenüberstellung der griechischen und der römischen Homosexualität. Den Abschluss der Arbeit bildet ein Fazit, indem ich die vorhandenen Ergebnisse noch mal Revue passieren lassen.
